I am with
SAP Research at the
CEC Dresden
where I'm leading the SHAPE project. Before, I have been with the
Semantic Technology Institute at the
University of Innsbruck, Austria, where I obtained my
PhD in Computer Science under supervision of Dieter Fensel.
I also worked as a Research Consultant for STI International.
My research interests are novel Web technologies, in particular around
Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and the
Semantic Web.
I have been involved in several international research projects, and
contributed to the development of the Web Service Modeling Ontology WSMO.
I published around 35 scientific articles in the field, and
developed an efficient and scalable technique for automated Web service discovery in my PhD thesis
(available as a book).
Previously, I obtained my Masters in Communications, Computer Science, and Business Administration from the
Free University of Berlin (Germany), and I worked as a Web Application Developer at the
UBIS AG and the Deutsche Telekom AG.
Please see my Curriculum Vitae for more information about my recent and past activities. |
